DAY 13 – SUN SALUTATIONS

I know I’ve said this before, but it’s worth repeating, again and again and again….

Short on time and not sure what to practice?  Sun Salutations.

Looking for a way to connect movement and breath?  Sun Salutations.

Want to invite some devotion into your practice, and create a meditation in motion?  Sun Salutations.

Do you need a sequence of movements that provides you with a full practice, including backbends, forward bends, hip openers and inversions?  Sun Salutations.

  1. Did 50 sun salutations in my yoga practice tonight. Started practice with a slight headache when I finished my practice my headache was gone.

  2. I had a headache also on Fri. but after I instructed yoga for Beth’s 4pm class, it was gone! Sometimes I think our back just needs stretched out, tightness can start at the sacrum and pull all the way up to the occipital area where it squeezes the nerves that go into the head. Wow, Brad that’s a lot of salutations! They do feel good!

Incredible, opened up email tonight and voila Sun Salutations, I put on my Anodea Judith’s Chakra Balancing CDs very,very early this morning and listened to her go thru, and did them in my mind, Sun Salutations for each Chakra. If you ever get a chance to listen to her Charka Balancing CDs (2 CDs and booklet), I know you will enjoy. Did a 20 min practice later in the morning before heading out to work on hardscape in backyard.
