FINALLY!!!!  I took my bike to the shop for its annual tune-up and got it back today!  In honor of this occasion, I set out on a short ride through the neighborhood before teaching in the afternoon.  It was great, and I can’t wait for the weather (and my schedule) to cooperate so I can go for a nice, long ride.

But……this is for you cyclers and spinners out there……it is SO IMPORTANT to give yourself some Yoga after a nice ride!  Get on the mat and get into some deep, low lunges to open up your hip flexors.  Indulge in some deep forward bends to make your hamstrings smile.  🙂  Dancer Pose is wonderful for opening the quads and shoulders, and backbends will help counteract all that hunching over.

Oh yeah…..and don’t forget to breathe!
