DAY 9: RELFECTION

Yoga practice is just that – practice.  And it’s so much more than coming to your mat and moving your body through asana.  It has the ability to create some serious change in the way you think, the way you view situations, the way you act/react to events in life.  But you can only create your change – keep tabs on your thoughts, your moods, your words.

Reflection is an interesting way to realize how far you’ve come in your practice.  I say reflection because it can sometimes be confused with living in the past.  When we look back, then stay in the present, we have the opportunity to see where and how we have grown.  We can create realistic goals for ourselves, and DO our very best to BE our very best.

Spend some time sitting, breathing and reflecting.  There are lessons learned, and lessons to be learned.
